Poor pressure can be caused by several factors, whether it’s the incoming mains supply, undersized pipework, elevation changes, storage or worn components.
The volume of water available can be limited for a number of reasons. On applications where pressure is adequate, an accumulator system is sometimes a more effective solution than an electrically driven booster set.
We calculate the peak simultaneous demand based on the total number of outlets. For applications with changing demands, a multi-pump variable speed booster set is quite often the solution.
A pump can only be installed directly on the mains if it is rated for no more than 12 litres/min. Beyond this, a cold water storage tank is required before the booster set, sized to provide enough storage to meet demand.
Loft, cupboard, plant room or outbuilding. The space available shapes the size, layout, access and acceptable noise level of the system.
A family home, hotel, hospital or industrial process each has different expectations for reliability, redundancy, control and maintenance.
We assess the current supply against demand, the issues currently being experienced, and the type of building and number of outlets. System drawings, existing equipment details and performance requirements help us select the optimum equipment.
