Ebara’s 3M range of stainless steel end suction centrifugal pumps are suitable for a wide range of applications such as water supply, heating and cooling, air conditioning and circulation in industrial, commercial and municipal sectors.
The pump casing is manufactured from a process known as Hydroforming where extremely high pressure water forces the stainless steel into a mold to form the shape of the casing. This process has significant advantages over more traditional methods and results in a perfectly smooth pump body free from any welding points, ensuring high resistance to corrosion and high efficiency and hydraulic performance.
All 3M models are manufactured from 304 stainless steel with the option of 316 stainless steel construction available with the 3LM range. All models feature a back pull-out design, meaning motor, shaft and impeller can be removed leaving the casing and pipework in place, allowing for easy maintenance.
The 3M range covers flow rates to 240 m3/hr, pressures up to 9.2 bar and motor powers up to 55.0 kW. The range is available fitted with 2900 rpm 2 pole motors (3M) and 1450 rpm 4 pole motors (3LM4). All models are fitted with extended motor shafts, additionally a version fitted with a standard motor and stub shaft (3LS / 3LS4) is available if required.
